David Lindley -AKA- Dun Deal –AKA- Dun D, grew up on the South Side of Chicago, “Pocket Town” to be exact– an area rampant with drugs, gangs, and violence. Dun D spent his young years on the streets and occasionally he would come to the studio to watch his big brother Traxster work with such industry greats as Twista, Do or Die, Psycho Drama and many others.

Soon Dun D decided to step out of his brother’s shadow by showcasing his talent of Rapping. In 2001, Dun recorded his first verse appearing on “We Ready” (All Hell Breaks Loose/CWAL), which immediately gained him recognition as a brilliant artist and songwriter.

Later he went on to appear on Do or Die’s “Stateville” (Pimpin Ain’t Dead/ Rap-a-lot), which displayed his ability to hang with the heavyweights.

Dun D finished his first solo project shortly before his untimely death on January 1st, 2006. Dun D was only twenty-six years of age. Traxster’s promise to his brother was to carry on the legacy. Rest In Peace David “Dun D” Lindley—your work will not go unnoticed. We miss you—you will not be forgotten!!!
